2 miles at 1:30 for the run-a-thon, and then 2 400 sprints at 8:00. 

The fundraiser was sooo fun! :) I did end up sleeping for like a half and hour, but it was so worth it... I enjoyed being with the team, and bugging people all night while I was half crazy with lack of sleep :)

3 miles run out to Hot nails w/ striders on the track after. Also some plyos.

 About a mile out, my calves started to hurt super bad. Around my ankles, the backs a bit, and towards the inside of my legs. I took it pretty easy the rest of the run and that seemed to help, but I'm worried about racing tomorrow...

Worst. Race. Ever. Yuck! I did pretty bad, but I was hurting pretty bad. My legs at first, but they seemed to cool down after the warm up, and then some pretty bad side aches through the race. Maybe I'm just being wimpy though...

 AM: 2 miles pretty slow...My legs were hurting super bad this morning, hence only 2 miles...

Afternoon: Sand run thing today:)  Hurting legs again. They were just as bad as usual, if not worse..I kinda kept up with the girls, but they were going pretty slow...but so was I...Today was for sure an Easy 3!

Warm up to Harts, with 3 2 min, and 3 400's.  My legs hurt pretty bad today. shin splints? Megan said to ice, stretch, and repeat.

Harts warm up, then the time trial (I did about what I thought I would) and a half mile cool down. My leg is still hurting pretty bad after my runs, even with my tape. I've been wearing the supportive shoes, and I think they are helping. I've been icing and stretching each night, and as much as I can.

2 miles easy. My leg was hurting pretty bad, even with the tape on my arch. I iced and rolled after. Liz and coach both said that I need to remember to stretch more often AFTER my run!

PE: Ran our first timed mile. I got 18:50, which is pretty consistant with what I've been running as of late. Leg hurt again after running, stretching helped a little.

Afternoon: I acctually did the warm up today! It was a pretty slow 3, my leg was doing pretty not swell. I've noticed that the pain comes more oftern when I slow down, or walk. REMEMBER! Stretch after running!!! I did the Estem, and iced, but I don't know if it made a differance..I also did the stretched and iced last night, but I think that just made me even more sore..

Ran up to Green springs today with Nicole. It was the first time I've ever run with her, and it was a Fun Run! :) We both took it at an easy pace since were both injured... After giving Matt the 2 quarters and credit card we found on our run, I stretched, spent 20 min. on the Estem, rolled out, and iced. My leg didn't hurt bad during the run, and It was better than usual after :)

 PE: 1 1/2 miles on the track, fairly easy.

AFTERNOON: 3 miles easy, with 4-100 sprints, plus 2 stadium hill sprints. 

 Did 15 min. on the Estem today, plus rolling, and icing. I wore a compression sleave today, it seemed to help a bit. I'm going to look into getting one soon. My leg felt more sore today then painful, a  happy relief! My right knee was bugging me a bit, I'll ice and hope for the best! 

I got left behind when they left for paint-the-town today... it was depressing, but I did get over there eventually... It was kinda fun I guess :) I never feel like I belong on the team anymore, I don't know why, but I never feel...accepted? by the other runners d: Whatever...

4 miles jog, with a stretch of fast pace to the dog pound. Feeling better! The first part of my run was pretty sketchy, but the middle and end were pretty good :) Yay! I iced and rolled after.

I couldn't wrap my arches because of blisters, so my leg hurt super bad today. I tried taking it easy, but in Sandbergs I'm not sure if that's possible....

3 mile slow jog in the neighborhood around the race course, with striders. First day with my inserts! Felt so good! My legs barely hurt at all, but they were a bit sore after, and the next day.

Race day! I hurt pretty bad in the warm up, but I'm pretty sure it was mostly soreness. I didn't do nearly as good at the race as I thought I would, and I was pretty mad with myself. I realized that I've been using my injury as an excuse to be slow, and really lazy about my practices lately, and that is what was holding me back.I know I can do better, and I will! Next race... My goal for the end of this season is to run a 5k in 26min flat! I'm going to start morning practices again, and step up my workouts at practice...

3 miles good pace to Green Springs with the freshman and Susan, then 4 stadium hill sprints and 4 100 Sprints. I was moving pretty slow up to Green Springs, but I was able to keep my pace consistent. The way pace was faster, and felt a lot better on my ankle, which has been hurting lately. The hill sprints went pretty slow too, but my 100's moved along quickly.

My ankle was feeling really good today, but my calves were pretty sore through the whole run... I hope the race tomorrow will go better! I think that fact that I'm getting waaaay too little sleep might be part of the reason I've been so slow lately? I'm for sure going to bed early today!

Race day! This race went better than the last, but still not as good as it could have been... I'm still favoring my left leg, so it was really workin in this race. I felt good during the warm up, but super good after the race at the high school, I felt like I could just run and run... Mark wrapped my ankle before the race, and it seemed to help, but I think it may have also given me shin splints...
