| | 3 miles down 2450, with 4 hills sprints and 2 100's. My ankle is still bugging me...ice time! I felt really good today during the run, and it was probably one of the best runs I have ever been on! :) |

Snow Canyon Invitational (3 Miles) 00:28:58 | | Race day! I felt pretty good during the whole race, and I could tell I was moving at a faster pace then I have been lately :) It was a happy moment. I don't quite feel ready for region yet, but I shall get there! I'm still having problems with my ankle, but it has been improving! XC as a whole has been improving too:) I feel more accepted by the team, and I've been really positive about running lately. |

I feel bad about my weak mileage, but My ankle and leg were really bad today. I iced, and rolled really good, but my ankle still hurts. I'm really worried about being ready for region...just as my leg started getting better, my ankle got messed up, and now it's both.. I don't know what to do!! I'm just hoping that I'll be OK after my weekend break...

| | {{PE: Ladders with 2 laps}} 1 mile warm up, with a mile tempo, 1 400, and 4 200's with a short cool down. I was feeling good up until the end of the mile tempo... The 400 was actually pretty good, but the 200's were pretty hard on my ankle.. I didn't do the whole cool down because of that too... Shhhh don't tell Matt! |

| | I ran down on the river trail with my mom :) It was a nice evening run, with a few fast paced areas. My ankle was OK-ish through most of the run, but near 1 1/2 miles my right calve started cramping up, even after I stretched. I took the next mile easy because I rode my mom's bike while she jogged for awhile:) It helped, and I ran the remainder back at a steady pace, with a tempo finish. I stretched, and I'm going to ice and put an Ace wrap on to see if that helps at all. |

2012 Region course (3 Miles) 00:30:16 | | Region! 3 mile race, plus warm and cool. I had such high hopes for this race, I just can't even grasp what happened. I kept telling myself positive stuff, and I was feeling really good this race, mentally and physically. I kept repeating my PR to myself to give me a goal, and a temp to run at. And then came the third lap...I really thought I was done, and I started focusing hard, trying to take it up a notch. then I realized that I still had one more lap to go, and I just lost it. I couldn't focus, and I slowed waaaaay down... I didn't get to accomplish either of my goals, and then I started crying in front of people... I had felt actually OK about the race until I saw my time! Not my worst I guess, but most certainly not my best. ((On the up side, I ran the first 2 laps really good, and had a really good finish:)) |

800-1000 cool, 400-400 cool, 200-200 cool, 400-400 cool, 200-200 cool. Plus 1mile warm and cool. Speed workout! It was actually kinda fun, as weird as that sounds...I like how sprinting feels, and I was pretty consistent throughout the work out. The first half of the 800 was 2:06, then my 400's were 1:53, and 1:55 .

| | Holy Hill work out today! We ran up the sunrise tires hill, and it was a pain in the legs!! The way there I ran with Taelor, and it felt so goooood to be back to running! Without exercising I just feel yucky! I was moving pretty slow up the hills, especially after the first half..but atleast I did it! After the hills I ran with Erin and Maquel back to the school, and it felt so good to go faster than usual! :) Erin started feeling sickley, but she was a trooper and kept going! My ankle was feeling super today! My left thigh is still sore, but I think icing shall resolve that:) |

4 mile hill run up to Green Springs. I tried to go faster than usual, and was ahead of Mika most of the time:) On the way back, I pushed myself to go faster, and just run! It was kinda fun! The time I took off definitely helped! I finally feel like I'm getting back into my old pace:) But now I am soo sore!! Plus my leg started hurting on the inside side, which hasn't happened in a while...I'm kinda worried about that, so I guess I'll just be careful and watch it...

| | 3 miles easy, with striders on the football field. I was not moving as fast as yesterday, I was sooo sore, and my leg is hurting even more...I'm worried about it I think I might have come back from my injury too fast...I guess that I'll ice, and wrap, and then either take tomorrow off or just take it super easy... |

| | Well today was a wimpy day d: I did the warm up, with no problem, then on the Hearts warm up my ankle-shin combo was being stupid again...So I'm icing, then rolling Again...And I've got 3 tomorrow so I'll try that out and see how it feels :) |

| | 1 mile to the park, with 3 laps(1 mile?) and 1 mile back. The grass run was so hard on my calves!! They were begging for mercy! But I like running on grass, it's fun!:) I was still moving slower than before today, but not by too much! |
