Region! 3 mile race, plus warm and cool.

I had such high hopes for this race, I just can't even grasp what happened. I kept telling myself positive stuff, and I was feeling really good this race, mentally and physically. I kept repeating my PR to myself to give me a goal, and a temp to run at. And then came the third lap...I really thought I was done, and I started focusing hard, trying to take it up a notch. then I realized that I still had one more lap to go, and I just lost it. I couldn't focus, and I slowed waaaaay down... I didn't get to accomplish either of my goals, and then I started crying in front of people... I had felt actually OK about the race until I saw my time! Not my worst I guess, but most certainly not my best. ((On the up side, I ran the first 2 laps really good, and had a really good finish:))
